Η πιστοποίηση "Terra Nativa - Αγροτική Παράδοση και Βιοποικιλότητα" εφαρμόζεται σε τρόφιμα που παράγονται στην Ελλάδα με παραδοσιακές αγροτικές μεθόδους, με στόχο την προστασία της βιοποικιλότητας, τη διατήρηση του τοπίου και την προώθηση της αυθεντικής ταυτότητας κάθε περιοχής.

Οι ξερολιθιές αποτελούν πέτρινα τοιχία αντιστήριξης, χάρη στα οποία δημιουργούνται αναβαθμίδες χωρίς τις οποίες, οι απότομες πλαγιές των Ελληνικών ορεινών περιοχών δεν θα μπορούσαν να καλλιεργηθούν.
Η τεχνική λέγεται «εν ξηρώ» και οι πέτρες που χρησιμοποιούνται συλλέγονται από τον γύρο χώρο ώστε να καθαρίζεται και να γίνεται καλλιεργήσιμος.


Στην Ελλάδα είναι χαρακτηριστικές στον Αιγιακό χώρο και ως στόχο έχουν τη δημιουργία καλλιεργήσιμης γης (σε μορφή βαθμίδων) μιας πλαγιάς και την προστασία έτσι του εδάφους από τη διάβρωση. Με την τεχνική αυτή χτίζονται επίσης μικρές γέφυρες και κτίσματα.

Αξιοποιούμε την γραφική αναπαράσταση της ξερολιθιάς, μιας τεχνικής από τα βάθη των αιώνων, που παραμένει αυθεντική έως τις μέρες μας και αποτελεί την προσπάθεια του ντόπιου να δαμάσει με αρμονικό τρόπο την γη, δημιουργώντας ζωτικό χώρο για τις καλλιέργειες, τα ζώα και την στέγη του.

Για την αποτύπωση του σήματος, επιλέχτηκαν βασικά γεωμετρικά σχήματα (ενωμένοι κύκλοι) προσδίδοντας έτσι μια αυστηρή και συνάμα επιβλητική γραμμή εκφράζοντας το κύρος της πιστοποίησης. Ταυτόχρονα λειτουργεί και ως σφραγίδα για μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία εφαρμογής στις αναγραφές των προϊόντων του προγράμματος.

Η γραμματοσειρά "Frank Black" είναι μια επιμελώς σχεδιασμένη γραμματοσειρά που έχει έντονο χαρακτήρα και εκφραστικότητα. Τα γράμματα είναι εμπνευσμένα από κλασικές γραμματοσειρές, αλλά έχουν ενημερωθεί με μια σύγχρονη πινελιά. Οι γωνίες είναι αιχμηρές και οι καμπύλες είναι λείες, δημιουργώντας ένα ισορροπημένο σύνολο μεταξύ σκληρότητας και απαλότητας.
